Political Madness

Just looking at his face puts me in a bad mood for an entire day. i'm not sure I can make it through the duration of another presidential primary. I'm hoping that the republicans are not stupid enough to nominate this buffoon, therefore elongating my misery.

  1. I think that pretty much sums him up.

  2. Who is he? Ben Carson is ahead of Trump in the polls. Carson may not be a billionaire but he is a brain surgeon! I am here to help you make it through the duration of another presidential primary.

  3. I really believe Carson and Trump are a temporary phenonmenon, although I've been wrong before. Fortunately for me, I suspect Ted Cruz won't be in serious contention for long, either. For the most part, only Tea Party types support him.

  4. Then who do you predict will be a more permanent phenomenon? Well I have great news. Let us make it more personal for the fun of it. We can go to China and have as many children as we want. They are changing their law.

Your brother makes fun of you for feeling that you are the most important thing going on. Is it possible that everything that happens, does so for your happiness? I feel that way-- that everything that happens, happens for your happiness. How can that be? That would be a real miracle if that were true. It is true.

Many people decide to get married and consider it the happiest day of their life. Then 50% of them decide to get divorced. So maybe you think that you would choose things differently if you were in control. But maybe you do not know everything that is going on and do not everything that is going to happen in your future.

  5. i suspect Marco rubio may eventually pull in front of the rest of the republican field. Once the actual time gets closer, many of the stranger candidates will, I hope, disappear. Rubio is more moderate. I originally thought jeb Bush might be a possibility, but things aren't going terribly well for him. Rubio seems to be a more viable candidate. The voters in this nation seem to prefer youthful and better-looking candidates.Such should not be the case, but it is.

Regarding my place in the grand scheme of things, I take it all with a grin of salt. In my blog I am all-important, but not so much in the real world.

Sorry, I think that guy from Ohio (Kasich) will be the last man standing on the black side off the chess board. Gird thy loins and assemble thy armamentaria now

    1. It could very well be. I have no crystal ball. it just doesn't look like Trump or Carson will still be in it, and things don't look all that great fro Bush, either, at this point.

  7. He always reminds me of Joseph McCarthy. There's even a physical resemblance, I think.

    1. it doesn't bode well for cruz that he evokes memories of Joe McCarthy.

  8. I will not vote for a Bush, or a Clinton, or anyone who has had a television show. Carson is an interesting candidate, though I am not sure a former brain surgeon would make a decent president. Those skills do not seem transferable to me. Admittedly, I haven't had a chance to really examine any of the candidates currently on the ticket. I am, however, bummed that I missed Christie on the train, since that is in my neck of the woods. I am thinking that I may be sitting out this election, or voting for Deez Nuts, just to make a point.

    1. I used to think smart was smart, and that a person who was smart enough to be a rocket scientist or a brain surgeon would be smart enough to surround himself with enough smart people to get the job done as president. I no longer feel that way.

    2. i'll vote my conscience in the primary. In the actual election, I'll pick whoever is likely the least bad from among the candidates who are in legitimate contention. That may be selling out, but I want my vote to matter. I can understand voting to make a point, too.
